News Matt Davis is a Piece of Shit Journalist

Posted by Matt Davis on Mon, Jan 14 at 12:54 PM

It’s come to my attention that another local journalist has had a 70-member (and growing) Facebook group named after themselves:facebookgroup.jpg
FACEBOOK: Unacceptable…

What I want to know is: Where’s MINE? I’m a piece of shit journalist, too. I’m just as much a piece of shit journalist as she is, my reporting, on occasion, barely even qualifies as “shoddy” and to accuse me of “sensationalism” is like questioning Colonel Qaddafi’s “business ethics.” Just because she happens to allegedly libel/slander a bunch of college students with nothing better to do than “break the terrifying wall of silence” that exists between college students and the real world, doesn’t make the quality of my reporting about police oversight and the like any less outrageous. Okay? Next thing I know you’ll be giving her the AAN award. Well if you ask me, this Facebook group is a PIECE OF SHIT, and I’ll go on saying so until I get one, deservedly, of my very own. Kids: Hop to it.

Everyone is just afraid of you.

Yes, you suck because you haven't reported that TriMet is holding a hearing on Wednesday to decide the fate of Fairless Square yet. How are all of us criminals going to get around?

That just proves the old saying that there is no such thing as bad advertising.

Indeed.

People pretty much expect it from you though.

yes, I thought we just took that as read?

:D <-- smiley makes it nice!
