On this week’s episode of Pure Pod for Now People, Matt kicks off the new year by making fun of the predictability of hipsters and music snobs, let’s Magenta play a song, can’t believe someone didn’t know the lyrics to “Just Like Heaven”, and rejoices when Magsy announces she had MEATLOAF (the food, not the singer). Music by the Cure, Radiohead, XTC, Slade and more. Welcome to episode 52 of Pure Pod for Now People!
OK, sure, label me a hipster, but Nebraska is the best album by the Boss. And I will argue that to anyone, anywhere. Even you, Matt. Oh, and in case you're curious, here's Springsteen's top five:
1. Nebraska
2. Born to Run
3. Darkness
4. Born in the USA
5. The River
Bring it.
1. Born To Run
2. The River
3. Darkness on the edge of town
4. Nebraska
5. Born in the USA
I will say that the Boss has a catalog that affects people in many different ways.
Thanks for listening to the show!

Darkness on the Edge of Town is the best Springsteen album and Tusk may not have all the hits like Rumors but the Lindsey Buckingham songs on that are as good or better than anything else they did.
