Games Okay, How About AIR Guitar Hero?

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Tue, Jan 8 at 11:23 AM

Want to rock out with Guitar Hero, but you’re too goddamn cheap to shell out for all the fancy pants equipment? Well then, perhaps the Guitar Hero Air Guitar Rocker is the game for you! Produced by Jada Toys, Air Guitar Rocker doesn’t require a guitar or even a videogame system. Simply strap on the special belt, turn on the amp, grab a pick, and whenever you “strum” the belt, you can magically play any one of ten riffs made famous by Sabbath, Van Halen, Motorhead and more! Check out this video of the game in action…

Omigod. Anyway! Here are the official deets…

“The Air Guitar Rocker is a unique product that captures the attitude of the Guitar Hero franchise perfectly,” said Charles Huang, vice president of business development at Activision/Red Octane, “allowing rock fans and air guitar enthusiasts the opportunity to jam at will to some of the greatest guitar riffs of all-time.” The Guitar Hero Air Guitar Rocker will be available in stores this March for a suggested retail price of $29.99.

Tip o’ the hat to Destructoid!

That guy sucks. Why's his left hand moving all over the place when he's playing a single note? That's just bad Air Guitar!
