Politics Don Imus Would Be Proud

Posted by Matt Davis on Thu, Feb 7 at 1:45 PM

Thanks to an anonymous donor who wrote, simply, “I did not send you this,” in his or her email, accompanying this controversial bumper sticker. I have to confess, I’ve been wringing my hands over whether to post it, and doing so could well be a mistake. In which case, I apologize for any offense caused.

OMG... That's fucked up... but I can't stop laughing. Alright, I'll just accept being a bad person for that..HA!!

You're okay Matt. It doesn't say "nappy headed"...

Fine line, though, innit.

Fine indeed.

I love it.

That's a pretty mild word to describe Hillary if you ask me.

My roommate has this on a t-shirt.

I actually think this crosses the line. I mean, this kind of humor means something completely different to those who are typically the targets of the sentiments being parodied, don't you think? I'm not advocating limiting freedom of speech, just acknowledging that when things like this are published, it does open the door that little bit wider, giving permission to those who actually take things like this seriously, and closing the ranks around those who are, in fact, offended.

Well, there you have it Matt. You just lost your multi-million dollar radio contract.

your post, your "apology", and the comments so far confirm this undecided voter's most cynical thoughts about why all the young hipsters love obama so much, even though his platform appears to be more conservative than clinton's. this just sucks so much for so many different reasons i don't even know where to start.

I'm not a hipster. Ask anyone.

I'm not a hipster and I'm not considered young either.

If Obama did your Mama,
would you have little trauma?
Or give the lady peace
and some unguent axle grease.

"women are not as worthy as men" is not as catchy, i guess.

chicks before dicks on the other hand...

"Bros before hoes" is a pretty common phrase. I've heard it referenced on primetime television for comedic effect numerous times. And there was some mini-scandal several months ago when this appeared on a t-shirt. The saying's original meaning was that a guy shouldn't sacrifice his friendship with his buddies for a girlfriend.

I'm just reporting, people.

Thanks James X. Obvious!

Brilliant!

For some reason, it really pisses me off that you posted that picture. Not because I find it offensive but because you didn't credit the creator. This is a design from www.tshirthell.com, so don't be a dick next time and give people credit for their work. Help a dude sell his fucking t-shirts.

I'd have credited the designer, but I didn't know who'd created it. Thanks, nuttocks, for filling me in. And thanks for calling me a dick, too. I love being called a dick. It feels me with dick joy.
