So, big news: Barack Obama’s hitting Portland on Friday. It’ll be all arena-rock style, with Obama speaking at the Memorial Coliseum. I think it’s fair to predict this thing’s gonna be huge.
Tickets are free, provided you visit Obama’s website and register. Here’s the complete lowdown, via Obama’s camp.

Not true - they still are available. I just got one in email from the Obama site.
I'm on a wait list, I wonder if I'll still get a ticket.
I have tickets but you know tickets dont garentee entrance. so i am going about midnight. but i am trying to figure out the entrances and if 12 will be early enough. I went to see him in seattle and got to be upfront and talk to him but this time i want to give that oppurtuntiy to my 11 yr old son who was invited and will attend the Inauguration.
anna -- if you have any advice on a lesser known entrance, I would much appreciate that info. I am not getting there until 7 a.m. which will certainly not give us good chances of getting in.
I can't believe you're getting there at midnight. you'll get in for sure.
So, the question is - how early are people going to have to get there to be able to get in? Is it time to start camping out now?
