« St. Paddy's Primer: Lesson #27 | Main | Mayoral Candidate Kyle Burris is Homeless »

I prefer drinking beer for charity, like when Courtney and I got drunk for Darfur a couple weeks ago. But this, this is good too:
March 14, 2008 - Sunday, March 16, through Saturday, March 22, 2008 is World Water Week, and the PDX Tap Project is giving Portland a chance to make a splash in alleviating the worldwide water crisis. Rolled out last year in New York City and now hosted in cities across the nation, the Tap Project is a UNICEF-founded program that provides clean water to children in developing nations by asking patrons at participating restaurants to donate $1 for a glass of tap water (or donate online at www.tapproject.org).
Participating restaurants include Apizza Scholls, Biwa, Cup and Saucer, Dove Vivi, Fire on the Mountain, Hot Lips, Kenny & Zuke’s, Le Pigeon, Podnah’s, Pok Pok, the Screen Door, Toro Bravo… The full list is after the jump.

I just saw this. I've been drinking so it's not the best time for a catblogging, as Erik reminded me just now when he caught me googling "cat news." But rest assured. There will be cat posts. Oh,there will be cat posts.
The lolcat image reminds me that there have been no cat-category postings of late.
Please tell me the tab is not dead . . .
