What is the Mental Health Assoc. of Portland? I thought I'd heard of every organization out there working with the mentally ill.

Also, Matt, please be a good little investigative reporter and question the, what did you say, remarkably high success rate of CCC rehab programs. Where do those stats come from and what is that rate? How long do they monitor sobriety after someone is out of their program? That's the key. If someone stays sober for only 6 months, is that a success? CCC creates their own statistics and so does JOIN. I wish someone in this fucking town would really look into this. Maybe now that Eric Sten is leaving, the person in his place won't have their head planted so firmly up CCCs ass and maybe we can get some clairity.

Look, I'm not saying CCC doesn't help people, but they're just not the be all end all perfect organization this city is convinced they are.

OK. I read about the Mental Health Assoc. I thought maybe they were a case mgmt. group, but I get it now. However, I still want to know about long-term success rate.

I've seen this film and it is a good film. I know that CCC helps a lot of people, but they do some funny things, too. Especially concerning their housing. And they're really good at raising money.
