Election 2008 Spotted Outside of City Hall: Kyle Burris Stumps for Signatures

Posted by Amy J. Ruiz on Wed, Mar 5 at 2:37 PM

Headed back to a second city hall hearing after lunch, I spotted mayoral candidate Kyle Burris out front, clipboard in hand.

He’s collecting the last signatures he needs to actually appear on the ballot. He could have paid a fee to land on the ballot instead, but points out that he’s broke. Since I’ve been treating him like a mayoral candidate for the past few months, I signed the nearly-full sheet to make him official.

I got turned down by Sten, Saltzman, and Francesconi. That's got to count for something, right?

Shows what they know.
If you can bring Sandy Barr back from the dead, or at least a non-decomposed facsimile thereof, restore the once-proud spectacle of the original PDX Wrestling AND start doing shows at the old Portland Sports Arena you'll earn the crown of Mayor for Life.
Go get 'em!
