Film Star Wars Last Supper - A Counter-Argument

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Wed, Mar 12 at 3:17 PM

Earlier today, our film editor Erik Henriksen reported that a young artist spent countless hours using still images from the Star Wars film series to make an image of the Last Supper. To wit:

I am not impressed by this at all. For example, the artist says:

It took me about two weeks of programming my own algorithm, doing a shit ton of touching up, and I even replaced a lot of images myself.
Big. Fucking. Deal. I am a bit of a Star Wars artist myself, and not only can I make my Last Supper images faster, they are infinitely more beautiful, too. Behold my latest masterpiece:

Yeah! So take that, Algorithm guy! I guess it’s true what they say about talent. Some folks got it, and some folks don’t.

So...you're never going to post anything worth a damn, are you? Can we have Scott Moore back?

I think Ned is trying to adopt the Matt Davisesque "Piss Every One Off" as his modus operandi. But perhaps not. Perhaps he simply has an unfortunate name.

I'm not sure why Ned's mosaic would piss people off. Don't people like art anymore?
