My grandma used to tug on her ear all the time, and it wasn’t until recently that I realized she was trying to quit smoking through acupuncture. I just thought she was a bit batty, which she was in a very charming way. Might I suggest trying the same thing with a free acupuncture appointment at the following places, ‘cause unofficially it looks like May is FREE acupuncture month.
Working Class Acupuncture (3526 NE 57th Avenue) is offering FREE acupuncture all day on May Day. On May 1, our doors will be open from 8:30 am-7 pm, giving as much free acupuncture as we can. We still need people to make an appointment though (so we can make sure to have enough acupunks around), so our number is 335-9440.
Seven Star Acupuncture & Apothecary, a sliding-scale community acupuncture clinic, will be celebrating their grand opening on Sunday, May 4, from noon till 8 pm at 436 SE 12th Avenue. FREE acupuncture will be offered all day on a first-come, first-served basis. Join us for delicious, healthy food and celebration. For more information, please call 236-6833.
