News Good Morning, News!

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Mon, Apr 14 at 8:58 AM

President Bush is rolling out the red carpet for this week’s visit from the Pope—and why not? They have so very much in common!

• At Sunday’s “Focus on Faith” forum (gauging candidates’ responses to religious and personal beliefs), Hillary Clinton said that the “potential” of life begins at conception, while quickly adding that the government shouldn’t interfere in a woman’s right to choose. Nicely played, Hillary!

Britney Spears caused yet another minor freeway pileup—but she WAS wearing underpants this time.

• Actress Cate Blanchett welcomes her third son into the world—and get ready to feel super old… remember lil’ Jodie Sweetin from Full House? She’s 26 and this weekend also gave birth to a baby girl. You’d better get busy.

Hillary Clinton said that the “potential” of life begins at conception, while quickly adding that the government shouldn’t interfere in a woman’s right to choose. Nicely played, Hillary! - what about the child's right to live? I thought liberals were so caring for children - not!

Britney Spears - like who really cares?

Cate Blanchett - like who really cares? Do you know her personally? As a stranger then, why would you care?

I'm amazed at the worthless things people care about, the staged and scripted "reality" programs that aren't, and the overall stupidity that people waste their time with. No wonder our country is screwed up!

@1 - You've truly given us all something to think about. In fact, all the profundity is positively overwhelming. Maybe you should take a day or two off after all that hard work. You deserve it.
