News Good Morning, NEWS!

Posted by The Unpaid Intern on Fri, May 30 at 7:10 AM

*Oh it’s been an interesting week for a certain ex-White House press secretary. Taking a closer look at the book deal, the advance seems a bit skimpy, considering the whole, you know, betrayal thing.

*HEY! Ricky effin’ Martin just endorsed Hillary. Eat it, Obama!

*So how about Virginia badass Jim Webb as Barack’s VP?…Anyone?…Anyone?

*You know the economy is in the toilet when people start talking about shutting down Kmart.

*Mediabistro: For the 77th consecutive month, the Fox News Channel finished first in the news ratings. Also of note, The O’Reailly Factor is the #1 cable news show for the 90th consecutive month.

*This week, the wife of American comedy icon Bill Murray filed for divorce, alleging physical abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction, and extramarital affairs. So he’s got that goin’ for him.

*And finally, a pretty cool video of a mind-controlled cyborg arm, courtesy of Gizmodo.

Neil Diamond

After canceling his September performance in Portland, Neil Diamond is back and ready to blow us out of our seats! Fine, maybe he won’t “blow us,” but I bet he’ll come to the stage locked and loaded with hits such as “Cherry, Cherry,” “Sweet Caroline,” and “I’m a Believer.” And does anybody remember “Heartlight”? I do! WSH
