Election 2008 Bus Project REJECTED from Dozono Party!

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Tue, May 20 at 6:51 PM

Get a load of this! The Bus Project, who has done perhaps more than any other local organization to get out the vote, has been turned away from the Sho Dozono election party. Why? According to the person manning the door, THEY WEREN’T INVITED. Our own Drew Gemmer (riding along with the Bus Project tonight) was also turned away from the well-dressed, upscale gathering at Los Baez restaurant on 24th and Burnside, and the gang of roughly 30 are now moving on to the Merkley and Middaugh parties—more from them later!

Note to the Dozono campaign: If by any chance you happen to make it through this primary, these parties are historically open to supporters of the political process and the press. Way to further alienate the voters!

How about we uninvite you to be mayor?

UPDATE: Our own Courtney Ferguson made it inside, and will be blogging shortly. Hey Courtney! Remind Sho and his campaign that they’re a bunch of dingbats.

Comments

When he inevitably comes in second, will he change his name to Place Dozono?

"Sho Gets It" I don't think so!
At least he turns his bias to embrace other populations in this diverse community. When Dozono stated "...don't feed the hungry and they'll go away..." he must have been directing his narrow vision toward other than just those experiencing homelessness. No party for the uninvited at Sho Central? Sho'nuff

Let's put Sho on a short bus.
