Drunk Nobody in Portland Knows How To Get To Branx/Rotture/Hippodrome

Posted by Unpaid Arts Intern on Wed, May 28 at 4:21 PM

Here’s some help, brought to you by the good folks from SICK:

Reviews are mixed as to whether this is really funny or really annoying.

Comments

There's no question. Annoying

Yep. Pretty annoying. AND it gave me a bit of a headache.

Wow. It's like living in Williamsburg ten years ago. It was annoying then too...

Someone needs to work on their funny voice. I think they were going for Lady Elaine Fairchild from the Neighborhood of Make Believe.

Yeah. Most Def, ANNOYING. And embarrasing because this person probably thinks their voice is funny but it's not. It just sounds like a bad improv actor who needs to clear their throat.

Come on. Lame! But then, 23 yr old hipsters from Akron or Lansing would probably think it's pretty "sick". What I don't understand is the premise--is Branx hard to find? Is finding a address on a fucking numbered street so difficult?

it's funnoying.

Lansing. That's funny, jake, and so true. I've forwarded this video to graffiti abatement coordinator Marcia Dennis because that's my way of expressing annoyance.

Hopefully no one will consider this a good example of Portland's vaunted creative class.

Sounds like they're trying to imitate Teen Girl Squad!

Ooh. Good call. Teen Girl Squad meets MST3K on nitrous.

Neil Diamond

After canceling his September performance in Portland, Neil Diamond is back and ready to blow us out of our seats! Fine, maybe he won’t “blow us,” but I bet he’ll come to the stage locked and loaded with hits such as “Cherry, Cherry,” “Sweet Caroline,” and “I’m a Believer.” And does anybody remember “Heartlight”? I do! WSH
