Food Pancake Puffs? You’re Pan-tastic!

Posted by Wm. Steven Humphrey on Thu, May 8 at 4:06 PM

So I got the crap flu last week, right? Which meant I got to watch A LOT of infomercials on TV, right? But there was one in particular that really caught my eye so much, a friend actually bought it for me! We tried it out today here in the office for our “$5 Food Challenge” (check next week’s Mercury for details on that clustereff), and what can I say? IT’S THE MOST AMAZING INVENTION OF THIS OR ANY OTHER CENTURY! Or as the commercial says, it’s “pan-tastic.”
Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Pancake Puffs! (Also available at Walgreens!)

So many things you can inject! (Your suggestions welcome below.)

Comments

I'd like to inject that I loved them the first time, when they were (and are still) called aebleskivers.

Ok, seriously, are these as fucking sweet at they look? Because I've seen that damn informercial about a million times and I've been ready to sell any bodily fluids (yes, ANY... wink, wink) to get a hold of one.

Veggie Corndog Puffs!

I'm excited for you.

I also saw this fabulous product while I had the flu and watched hundreds of infomercials on daytime TV! I think a better name would be "The Pancake Poppler"

Neil Diamond

After canceling his September performance in Portland, Neil Diamond is back and ready to blow us out of our seats! Fine, maybe he won’t “blow us,” but I bet he’ll come to the stage locked and loaded with hits such as “Cherry, Cherry,” “Sweet Caroline,” and “I’m a Believer.” And does anybody remember “Heartlight”? I do! WSH
