Politics Sho’s Over

Posted by Courtney Ferguson on Tue, May 20 at 9:13 PM

Eric, “the cripple” here, filling in for Courtney as she steps outside for the nic fix.
I just spoke briefly with Sho’s campaign manager (I didn’t get her name) who said, “It’s over. We tried.” I tried to plead that it wasn’t technically over, but she frowned in a disapproving manner at my artifice. She seemed rather sad which is understandable. Everyone here appears to be very personally invested in the candidate, and a corresponding air of disappointment is evident. It may simply be the wine speaking, but I detected a slight hint of relief in Mr. Dozono’s voice during his speech. Again, could just be the wine. I’m not even getting paid for this so what do you expect, objective journalism?

Courtney here: Che, the kitchen manager, says that all the old people are headed out “to smoke a cigar” and bemoan the loss of Sho Dozono, also Che is glad that no one threw any wine bottles, or other such acts of senseless violence.

OMG is the Brazilian band playing “Stairway to Heaven.” Yep!
