Events 60 Free Blackberries

Posted by Matt Davis on Mon, Jun 2 at 1:39 PM

If you, like me, are yet to understand why iPhones are better than Blackberries (something about them being “less corporate”? nonsense…) you might be interested in the chance to win one of 60 being given away to the top 30 teams in a navigate-the-city challenge being held on Saturday.

i'm no fangirl (i have a t-mobile dash, and that's fine), but the iphone is more user-friendly by far than any other smart phone i've seen.

recently, my housemates each ordered a new phone. one got a blackberry and the other got an iphone. i was way envious of the blackberry's gps, until we realized it didn't work at all, whereas with the supposedly gps-free iphone, you hit like two buttons and you were automagically looking at a map of your location.

the number of buttons you have to push is crucial. i've yet to actually count, but to pair my dash with my bluetooth headphones, i have to hit like twenty keys. i bet with iphone, it's three or fewer.

still, free is a very good price for a blackberry.
