Duuude.

William Gibson is at the Clackamas Town Center tonight, reading from his 2007 book Spook County, now out in paperback. Anybody read it? I haven’t read him since Neuromancer when I was 12, but that book sure is cool.

Why the fuck is Gibson at the Clackamas Town Center and not Powells?

I know you've got some nerds on your staff, get them to comment on Sci-Fi authors.

wow. super bummed i didn't hear about this in time. serves me for failing to check blogtown less than once every ten minutes.

Spook Country is good...many of those yummy esoteric sentences... but Pattern Recognition, the novel before it, is one of my all time favorite Gibson books...check it out!

I agree, there's a reason he's out at Clackamas for this one. It's not great, but Pattern Recognition IS Great!!
