L.O.W. (Laid Off Worker) BBQ nights were something of a legend in town for awhile. But they took a long hiatus, leaving Portland BBQ junkies high and dry.

But Chef Ken of Kenny and Zuke's is reviving L.O.W. BBQ at his Stark Street dining room for one day this Friday. You better jump on it because it will sell out. I guarantee it.

Here's what the menu looks like:

Pulled Pork Sandwich on House-made Bun. Make it Memphis Style with Tangy Slaw. One side. $9.75
Texas-Style Smoked Brisket. 3/4 pound of brisket and two sides. $12.75.
Sides: potato salad, coleslaw, collard greens or cornbread. French fries for an extra dollar.

You can also get take out, but you need to order asap. They require 48 hours notice. Here's the take out menu:

Pulled Pork, $10.75/lb
Pork Spareribs, $24/rack
Beef Brisket, $11.75/lb
House-made Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce, $4.50/pint
Potato Salad, $5.75/lb
Coleslaw, $5.75/lb
Collard Greens, $5.75/pint
Cornbread, $1.50/piece
9" Pecan Tart, $24 each
9" Apple Pie, $20 each
