As you probably know, I have a rather unhealthy fascination with The Rock-afire Explosion -- the animatronic animal band that would play and entertain at the now defunct Showbiz Pizza chain. I've written before about how some collectors have been scavenging Rock-afire parts to build their own set-ups in their basements, and then programming them to play current songs (like this hilarious version of Usher's Love in this Club).

BUT NOW MY DREAMS HAVE TRULY BEEN ANSWERED! There's a new documentary on the obsession debuting this Fall, entitled appropriately enough The Rock-afire Explosion. Check out the trailer, it looks like it's going to be a goodie!
