Brian Suereth sent over some photos from the opening night of Immaterialized, the inaugural show at the new Disjecta space in N Portland.
End Hits-er Andrew had this to say about the evening:
there were a number of substantial fashion statements in the crowd, not all of which were advised. a few of the pieces were awesome (the cardboard tank and screen printed wall) but otherwise the exhibit felt a little sparse-- which isn't surprising considering how recently the building was finished. not quite as grand as the last disjecta space but less daunting-a whole lot cleaner and more functional. also here you're ten times less likely to get caught on a rusty nail. should be interesting to see how things turn out.
More photos after the jump. (Photos taken by Jamie Goodridge.)
