Twin Peaks Trivia Results

Posted by Courtney Ferguson on Mon, Aug 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM

As I drunkenly told my cabbie on the way home, "You know, how there's one thing... usually just one thing... that you're REALLY good at in life. Well, I found mine tonight. It's Twin Peaks trivia. I sure as shit can't profit from it, but DAMN am I good at it."

As you might recall from last week's blog post, there was a one-off Twin Peaks trivia night this weekend. Hosted by the lovely Margaret, the turnout was good, filling Peter's 19th Hole on NE Fremont on a Saturday evening. Let's just say competition was stiff. These guys were amazing.

Bob's Black Lodge Dream Team squeaked out a victory with 56 points.

While we might have lost (we got 50 points), I now have a career path in Twin Peaks trivia. Who said I'd never amount to anything. My parents, that's who.

If we had answered these correctly, a cherry pie would have been ours for the eatin'.

Q. What college did Diane Shapiro attend:
Q. What county was Twin Peaks in?
Q. What was the name of the actress who played Mrs. Hayward?
Q. What was the name of the soap opera that everyone in Twin Peaks watched?
Q. Which three actors from the series are dead?
Q. What is the name of the artist who played the song "Pennsylvania 6-5000"?

Trivia answers and more pictures after the jump...

I never really watched the show, but I know it was filmed in North Bend, WA which is in King County. I don't know though if the show was set in North Bend as well.

The real county that fictional Twin Peaks is located in is Pend Oreille county. And don't forget, if we'd gone with Patrick and his Dune answer we would've gotten an extra point.
Next time!!!!

I still say it was Pamela Anderson with two five pound bags of silicon in the bedroom.
