TV It's On TV Tonight!

It wasn't screened for critics, but that's no reason not to tune in for what is sure to be the triumphant premiere of 90210 (The CW, 8 pm)--the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off. You can read more about it here, but suffice it to say I'M PSYCHED and hope I won't be as disappointed as I was by Gossip Girl. (And just in case you're interested in "The Top Ten Brenda Walsh Moments," then by all means click here.)
HOWEVER! If you're not the 90210 type, then do not miss tonight's season premiere of one of the best crime dramas on television, THE SHIELD (FX, 10 pm). No other show portrays the gray areas of morality like The Shield, and especially its central character, the morally complex and violent Vic Mackey. Here's just one of the methods he uses for extracting confessions. Try it yourself sometime!
