Games / Music Ground Kontrol's Rock Band 2 Launch Party (for Charity!)

Update: Details have changed! Most crucially the admittance fees have dropped to $3 per person for the daytime event and $3 for entry, $1 to play for the late night event. Have a look at the updated press release if you need more comprehensive info.
Let's face it: You're a godless heathen. Instead of skipping church this weekend to nurse a hangover, why not do something to boost your karma a bit?
This Sunday Ground Kontrol is holding a massive launch event for Rock Band 2. Cover charge for the event ranges from $3-$5 (depending on how involved you intend to be) and all proceeds go to benefit the Ethos Music Center and the Rock And Roll Camp for Girls.

All-Ages: Ground Kontrol, Noon-4PM
511 NW Couch St., Portland, OR
$3 donation per person for all-day play
21+: Someday Lounge, 8PM-2AM
125 NW 5th Ave., Portland, OR
$3 entry fee, $1 per person for all-night play
Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade and Someday Lounge celebrate the release of the video game Rock Band 2 by opening their stages for guests to perform any of the game's 84 new songs in a live show environment with pro audio equipment, stage lights, and fog effects. MC Destructo of Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade's weekly Rock Band Tuesdays event will host the proceedings.
All proceeds from the door and stage fees will be donated to the Ethos Music Center and the Rock 'n' Roll Camp For Girls, in support of childrens' music education.
Liquid Development, a Portland-based videogame asset creation company and co-developers of the Rock Band series, will award Rock Band promotional merchandise to the 'band' with the best performance and stage presence as determined by the audience.
