I've Heard a Magic Eight Ball Works, Too

Posted by Unpaid Arts Intern on Fri, Oct 10, 2008 at 11:55 AM

Saera Khan, a member of parliament in Norway, spent $7,750 over three months (!) calling pay-per-minute psychics on the country's dime. She is not seeking reelection, and a party head insists that governing decisions were not influenced by Khan's spiritual advisers, though if you're calling Dionne Warwick about your boyfriend or what to have for dinner or whatever, I'm sure it'd be tempting to throw a work question or five in there.

But the point is: Over here in the USA, we may have totally wack leaders that admit to making decisions (like starting wars) based on conversations with God, but at least Jesus doesn't charge by the minute. LS

But, the more money you give the church, the more Jesus loves you.
