Small correction Amy: The person "RainMan" was based on does not have the central nervous system in his brain that connects the right and left hemispheres. He was born Agenesis Corpus Callosum. His name is Kim Peek and he attends the National Organization of Disorders of the Corpus Callosum. NODCC. My son is 13, attends daVinci Arts Magnet Middle School and has the same birth defect.
S. Palin is sooooo far from representing me as a special needs mother.
