I so rarely feel compelled to blog while cooking dinner--but NPR is the single girl's dinner date, and Michael Pollan on Fresh Air has got me all inspired. He calls Terry out for suggesting that the idea of a White House garden is preposterous, cites Eleanor Roosevelt's WWII call for "victory gardens," and encourages the government to forgive student loans for culinary school grads who do time in school cafeterias. (Pollan's on 'cause of his recent open letter to the next president in the NY times.) Check it out.
