Film RIP Rudy Ray Moore

Rudy Ray Moore, star of Dolemite, passed away yesterday at age 81. Now, I've never seen Dolemite all the way through, but it's a blaxploitation classic. Here's the trailer from YouTube. "Dolemite is my name, and fuckin' up mothafuckas is my game!" His rhyming, rhythmic talk predated all kinds of emcee stylings, and the vulgarity of his stand-up comedy records puts Richard Pryor and Redd Foxx to shame.

Vulgarity isn't really a barometer of anything. Have actually watched some Richard Pryor? Perhaps after you do we could start the comparisons.
