Rudy Ray Moore, star of Dolemite, passed away yesterday at age 81. Now, I've never seen Dolemite all the way through, but it's a blaxploitation classic. Here's the trailer from YouTube. His rhyming, rhythmic talk predated all kinds of emcee stylings, and the vulgarity of his stand-up comedy records puts Richard Pryor and Redd Foxx to shame.
