Tonight: Anthology Release and Free Theater

Posted by Alison Hallett on Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 2:02 PM

Tonight at Worksound the release party for the newest anthology from the Beaverton-based online quarterly Ink-Filled Page (dig the hyphen). Drinks, dessert, readings, fun.

Worksound Gallery, 820 SE Alder, 7-10 pm, free

And meanwhile at the Friends Meeting House, a reading of the new play The Trial of George W. Bush 2005.

Many of the readers for this debut performance are members of activist groups such as Veterans for Peace, Veterans Against Torture, Code Pink, Seriously Pissed-Off Grannies, PDX 911-Truth, Oregon Truth Alliance, PDX Peace Coalition, National Impeachment Network, Military Families Speak Out Oregon, Books for Prisoners, Southside Democrats for America, Individuals for Justice, KBOO Community Radio, Laughing Horse Books, and more.

I, um, think maybe he'll be indicted.

Friends Meeting House, 4312 SE Stark, 7 pm
