Campaign Ads to Get Behind

Posted by Unpaid Arts Intern on Wed, Oct 22, 2008 at 2:30 PM

Comedy group The Landline presents John McCain attack ads as if they had been directed by John Woo, Kevin Smith, and Wes Anderson. They're all pretty okay, though the last one just makes me want to watch Life Aquatic, or Rushmore, even that American Express commercial he once did. Any of them, really. I love him. I even love fake him. Check the vids below. LS

I hate to tell you this... but... Wes Anderson has only made one good movie. He's made quite a few popular movies, but only one Good one.

Bottle Rocket. The rest were "eh..." worthy.

I'm of the opinion that he had two good movies. One was Bottle Rocket. The other one was The Royal Tenenbaums, a.k.a. The Life Aquatic, a.k.a. The Darjeeling Limited.

Nice video, however. The last bit mostly makes me realize how much I love David Bowie.

I hate to tell you this....but......those were funny, Wes's movies are great not good, and the two of you may just be absolutely FULL of HORSE SHIT!

Graham did you pull that line from "stuff white people like"?

Rocketsauce. No. But i'm pretty sure that I stole that line or phrasing from someone somewhere. I'm not very creative.

But I do own the same plastic penguin that the chick was holding. They're from Archie McPhees.
