Well, That Was Fun

Blazers fans, see that photo? It pretty much sums up everything.

The team looked flat, Oden looked terrible (and wounded, the unofficial word is a "mid-foot sprain"), and no matter how bright this team's future is, they are a long way from being as good as the Lakers. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

(Unless Oden gets hit by a car tomorrow, which I wouldn't rule out right now.)

That giant whooshing sound... the air being sucked out of all the preseason expectations in one game, as soon as tipoff happened.

I'm thankful I'm not a Blazer fan. I don't think I could handle the media scrutiny over Greg Oden, the bloated expectations, or the failure that was last nights game.

As a Laker fan, I'm not ready for another season yet. After the last finals I think I need a year off. Maybe I'll pick a name out of a hat and root for a random team.
