This Week's Mercury Music Section

Another week, another Mercury music section to read while you carbo-blast and bulk up on the fatty foods in order to stay out of prison. Seriously, this guy totally stole my idea.

We talk to controversial, and damn funny, music author Henry Owings about his new book, The Rock Bible. If there was any justice in this world the Gideons would place a copy of this book in every hotel room.

Some emcees keep it real, but Mic Crenshaw keeps it realer. He's the realerest. Shut up, that's totally a word.
LISTEN:

Mic Crenshaw - "A Lot of Us"

Oh, chillax, there's more. This week's music columns feature Cary talking about the long-awaited record from Grey Anne, while I chat with the talented Nick Jaina.
LISTEN:

Grey Anne - "Adelaide"

LISTEN:

Nick Jaina - "A Narrow Way"

End Hits: When music blogs stop being nice, and start being the realerest.
