But some children need a new mother and father because their original mother was murdered by their original father, who proceeded to kill himself. Tragic.
Now listen as right-wing bigot Maggie Gallagher explains that all children need a mom and a dad -- because moms and dads are magic. "Unions of a husband and wife really are different," says Gallagher. "These are the only kinds of unions that can make new life and connect those children in love to their own mother and father." Except, you know, when those unions don't. Michelangelo Signorile -- gay activist and author, and the owner of at least one tie -- does a great job debating Gallagher.
