Last Chance Farmers Market

Posted by Patrick Alan Coleman on Mon, Nov 24, 2008 at 3:39 PM

If you haven't picked up your local Brussels sprouts (or potatoes or what-have-you) for your Turkey Day feast, the Portland Farmers market is offering you one last chance, tomorrow from 1pm -5pm at the Eastbank market location.

The Eastbank market at SE 20th Ave and Salmon St. is one of my favorites, considering that it's on my way home and doesn't generally have the maddening crowds that you run into at PSU. It's smaller, sure, but that just means less ground to cover and a more efficient shopping experience.

You gotta admit that being able to eat locally grown produce at your Thanksgiving meal is indeed something to be thankful for.
