Food / Games Chompin' Waffles, Chompin' Fruit

Tonight, FLAVOURspot kicks off what they hope will be an annual video game tournament with a Ms. Pac Man throw down! Registration is free, but you need to get through the qualifying round if you want a shot at the $350 cash prize for first place.
The tournament prelims begin at dark (based on when the light at the corner of Mississippi and Fremont comes on) and run until 8pm Thursday through Saturday for the next two weeks. The final prelim is Thursday the 18th, with semi-finals and finals on Friday the 19th, and Saturday the 20th.
Contestants will be given something warm to drink while they wait to play, including samples of FLAVOURspot's new "mysterious" coffee.
Don't think you're good enough to take away the top prize? Then shoot for the second or third place prizes which are, in order, a set of steak knives, and a copy of Buckner and Garcia's 1982 Pac Man Fever album.

Qualifying rounds will be timed: Adjust your strategy accordingly- you are going for points here, not getting the most out of your quarter - eat that fruit!It's only a game, and it's free to enter: remember, there is no entry fee and your time invested will be minimal. This is a fun-times contest, let's not get TOO intense just because there's a cash prize involved.
