100 Percent Unconfirmed Snow Rumor

Posted by Sarah Mirk on Thu, Dec 11, 2008 at 6:06 PM

For the last few days, everyone's been murmuring that it's going to snow this weekend.

Current highly exciting Google weather page:

More reliable than computers though, is Art, the very very friendly checker at the Northeast New Seasons who is from New Hampshire. As I was buying organic yogurt and hemp granola (ha! yes, really.) tonight he struck up conversation, "Man! It's so nice out!" he said, "It's so cold! I love it when it's all crisp and cold. You can smell winter, you can just smell the snow."

Sometimes they end in an ice storm... which is more akin to tears than disappointment

Mirk, aren't you from fucking Iowa or something like that. Why would you feel the need to quote some authority on winter weather from NH? The midwest not a frozen hell in winter?

Unless you felt the need to shamelessly plug New Seasons, I guess. Hope you got that ridiculous hemp yogurt free at least.
