When Blog Posts Collide

Posted by Patrick Alan Coleman on Tue, Jan 6, 2009 at 12:01 PM

Yesterday, Ned Lannamann "directed" a film based on an office conversation through the awesome xtranormal text-to-movie website. At the same time, I was judging a cheesy pick-up line contest to give away a Tillamook Cheese Cookbook.

Today, I have combined the awesome power of these two posts to bring you a film directed (more skillfully than Mr. Lannamann, I might add) by moi, through the text-to-movie process, with dialogue made up entirely of cheesy pick-up lines that were submitted yesterday.

Behold the anus-clenching pathos and ennui of Cheesy Lines:

I'll take my Academy Award in non-sequential hundred dollar bills, please.

Oh, it's ON.

A couple of rude jokes and some partial nudity does not a great film make. Where's the humanity, the pathos--the little kid wonder? Your overdubbed applause and laughter isn't fooling anyone.

Also how did you make the guy shrug shake his head?

Obviously you didn't bother to read the instructions, Ned. If you were true to your art, you would have educated yourself before jumping into the fray and making horrible slop like the "chowder dick" chronicles. If you want to know how to make the guy shrug, then figure it out... chowder dick.

Do you think you guys could maybe keep the rest of these to yourselves? It's not that I don't appreciate your prowess, cinematic and otherwise...

Well actually, I don't.
