Inauguration: Dancing Girls On The Slammer Roof?

Posted by Matt Davis on Tue, Jan 13, 2009 at 1:40 PM

The Mercury's postwoman (postperson?) (postmanlady?) just dropped by with a bundle of post, and the unsubstantiated rumor that the Slammer on SE 8th and Stark is planning to have an inauguration party on the 20th, starting at 6pm, with, quote, "dancing girls on the roof." I would like to see some Obama nipple-tassles, personally. The band's playing, too. "Where the streets have no name?"

Don't forget: The Mercury-sponsored inauguration party kicks off at Holocene at 8pm next Tuesday.

I think it's retro-active. They were always mail carriers. Just like we all always liked The Gilmore Girls.
