He was asked multiple times about this point blank when voters could have decided if it was important or not. He lied about it.

If sleeping with 18-year-olds is no big deal, he should have just admitted it. No harm, no foul, right?

It's nice to know that when I hit 40 I can start grooming 17 year old girls to screw immediately upon their 18th birthday, and judging by a lot of people here, they won't find that the least bit troubling. In fact, they'd gladly elect me to the highest offices in the land.

Standards, people.

That pic features an Obama-Biden pin - October 2008. Is he still going to stick to his "only" a 2 month affair in 2005? One poster said it best - repeated behavior and repeated lies are not A mistake. They are a pattern.

Blabby, type "barely 18" into Google and you'll see some interesting standards--and not much evidence of anybody feeling particularly troubled.

I really don't care. I'm annoyed that this is even an issue. Consenting adults can boink like bunnies (or not) and it's none of our business.

Please...if you're going to characterize a sexual relationship between a politically hungry 18 year old, and a hot city commissioner as pedophilia you really need to reconsider. This wasn't an example of a predator taking advantage of a victim. This was two men getting exactly what they wanted; sex and companionship. Unfortunately one of them wanted publicity as well, while the other one...not so much. Let Sam apologize and carry on serving the city he's already worked so hard for.

Fucking A! You just read my mind! There are many, many potholes on Sandy between 57th and 82nd--get crackin' Sam, and you'll be fit as a fiddle by the time you're done you'll be ready for your next task! Maybe gang tag removal?
