Coraline Costume and Model Makers at Radish Underground

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Thu, Jan 22, 2009 at 2:39 PM

Getting excited about the release of Coraline animated creep-fest? Here's the 3-D trailer to help get your psych on, so grab your handy 3-D glasses for the full effect. (What, you mean you don't have a pair?)

The premiere is kicking off the Portland International Film Festival this year, with a big fancy screening at the Schnitz on Thursday, February 5th, but if you want to get in the mood early, you should stop by Radish Underground (414 SW 10th) for a First Thursday opening featuring the wearable work of two people involved in the film: costume designer Paloma Soledad and model builder Keith McQueen. Find out more details on MOD, and introduce yourself at the party, which is set to get going at the store at 5 pm—plenty of time to walk over to the premiere afterward!
