So when Potter became the butt of jokes following Cesar Chavez indecent, he should have resigned as well?

Keep in mind that I think he should have. Not because he was was the butt of jokes, but because he wasn't "running the city", and it became clear then. And I'll say the same of Adams, if he can't recover from this, and go on and be the great mayor this city needs, then he should resign. (And If Obama couldn't recover from his Grandmother dying to lead the country, then he should have resigned too.) But it is impossible to make that judgment two days after the scandal broke.

I hope he doesnt resign. No matter what he is still the guy i voted for and is qualified to do great things. I am over this like 20 minutes after he apologized.
