The air traffic tapes of the airliner that crashed into the Hudson river were released today, and… DIBS ON MAKING IT INTO A MASHUP WITH CHRISTIAN BALE'S RANT!

The number of new jobless claims leaped to 626 THOUSAND as Obama struggles to get his very weighty stimulus package passed. Drama!

Sarah Palin continues her "Nag Campaign '09," today railing about "pathetic bloggers." Man, I'm glad she didn't get elected. She's a real feelings-hurter.

Speaking of hurt feelings, legendary songstress Etta James has threatened to kick Beyonce's ass—AND accused Obama of having "big ears." Why are old people so grumpy??

Beau Breedlove has two more TV interviews airing today; one on KGW (channel 8 at 5 & 6 pm) and a CBS News chat airing on KOIN (channel 6 at 11 pm) and Logo (on cable at 7 pm). Here's a sneak peek of part one of KGW's hilariously awkward and verging on mind-numbingly boring interview with Beau. Maybe it gets better?

And finally, Mickey Rourke. Oh, Mickey… you were doing so well there for a moment.

1. That picture does not properly show the length of Mickey's wallet chain. The damn thing went past his knees, and really accented his shiny jacket and cap.

2. I have been practically ACHING for a reporter or writer somewhere to transpose the words "stimulus package." COME ON, PEOPLE.
