TV Check out Eastbound & Down!

If you're a fan of that kind of sitcom where the protagonist is a real dick (think Curb Your Enthusiasm), then you're gonna eat up Eastbound & Down on HBO (Sundays, 10:30). It stars new Hollywood fave Danny McBride (The Foot Fist Way, Tropic Thunder, Pineapple Express) as a disgraced pro baseball pitcher who moves back home to North Carolina, gets a job as a substitute teaching P.E., and tries to bone the art teacher (who's engaged to the principal). I watched the first episode last week and LOVED IT, because I love hillbilly humor and Larry David-ish dick humor, and this has both of those things by the monster truckload. Plus it's produced by, and will occasionally guest star, Will Farrell—if that makes a difference.
Here's the opening scene from the premiere episode, and it just gets more foul-mouthed and hilarious from there! Language NSFW!
