Dammit...why did we pay for the day laborer site if people refuse to use it...

This weekend, I'm planning to take my printed resumes, crumple them up, head downtown, and start chucking them at the head of anyone who's wearing a suit.

Well, then get off your lazy ass and start a business with that fancy degree of yours, honey. Maybe you should have had a better plan in place when you decided to go into a field for the money rather than aptitude or passion.

No way on earth I'd hire someone who couldn't figure that one out on their own.

fahqueue-

although it's easy to assume this woman went into business for the money, why dont we give her the benefit of the doubt that she's passionate about her chosen field? i'd say that anyone who is ballsy enough to go hold that sign up on the street is not lacking passion or drive. what she is lacking is a job. as a member of the young, freshly educated work force, let me tell you-there are no jobs for young people. i work for free. what does that tell you?

It tells me that you're not as talented as your employed peers, Molly. Wheat from the chaff, as Patrick Alan Coleman would say.
