The next time you decide to complain that your street is being renamed for César Chávez, take just a minute, look at the picture below, and realize how goddamn good you have it!

NYC Mayor Bloomberg temporarily renames part of West 53rd Street "U2 Way."

I used to really love this band when I was a wee lad in the 80"s and now all I want to do is take Bono's head and kick it to wipe that smug look off of his face!!!!!!!!

The difference is that NYC duel names their honorary streets. So Joey Ramone Place is also named E 2nd St.
If Portland did the same thing, I'm sure much of the opposition would disappear.

Nope, I'm still gonna complain about Cesar Chavez Blvd until the council drops the idea entirely. Only then will I have found what I'm looking for...
