Life of a Craphead

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Thu, Mar 5, 2009 at 3:24 PM

Do the words "conceptual comedy" strike terror in your heart? If not, you might want to check out Life of a Craphead, which appears tonight at the Artistery. The Canadian duo sashays all over the line between performance art and comedy, and a quick tour of their puzzling website reveals that they have created unique art installations in a range of public places. For example, they erected mounds of trash in a park and then covered them with sod! They carved rumble strips into a major city street! They ordered one of everything on the menu at a Chinese restaurant and then gave it all away! (That last thing is actually kind of sweet.)

Here's a video.

Does that help?

Yeah. I am as confused as you are. Still, it should be an evening of weirdness and giggles.
