Welcome to 1983! With 651,000 jobs lost in February, unemployment is the worst its been in 25 years!

Obama <3 Cops! (and DVD box sets?): Obama travels to Illinois to tout the money for police in his stimulus, then gives British Prime Minister Gordon Brown a weird "special gift" — a bunch of DVDs you could "easily find on Netflix or at Blockbuster."

SWMs of the world cry a single tear: A Chicago Sheriff sues Craigslist for being "the world's biggest bordello."

Dairy Farmers, NPR Lovers Disenfranchised: Minnesota, the passive-aggressive home state of the World's Largest Ball of Twine, still has no senator.

Blame it on the Mexican Drug Cartels: It seems like everything bad in the world is blamed on Mexican drug cartels these days. Including increased violence in Vancouver, BC.

Paying them Peanuts: Big salmonella outbreaks happen because private food inspectors miss problems — and their paychecks are written by the food companies.

In terms of percentage. The economy has(d?) many more actual jobs to lose this time around.
