STARBUCK IS COMING FOR ALL OF YOU.

Tonight, as it does every Friday night, Battlestar Galactica will be screening at the Bagdad Theater (3702 SE Hawthorne, 10 pm, 21+, free). That's fine and good and whatever, but you know what's about a billion times cooler?

Next week, on Friday March 13, actress Katee Sackhoff—AKA Battlestar's Starbuck—is gonna be at the Bagdad. Just as Battlestar writer Mark Verheiden did a few weeks ago, Sackhoff will watch the episode with a room full of Battlestar fans, then answer questions. (BACK OFF, ASSHOLES! I CALL DIBS ON "WILL YOU MARRY ME?")

KUFO's Cort and Fatboy have been hosting these kickass Battlestar screenings, and here's what Fatboy has to say:

In week three, we had Writer/Executive Producer Mark Verheiden... watch the last episode he ever wrote for the show with us, and do a little Q&A afterwards. Mark said something on his blog afterwards to the effect of, "It's not often the writers of television shows have people hanging out their windows as they drive by screaming, 'I LOVE YOU MARK,' but it happened." I'm probably murdering the quote, but you get the gist. If Portland lost their mind at Mark Verheiden's presence in the theater, the entire tops of their heads will probably evaporate completely next Friday:

For the second to last episode ever, airing Friday the 13th, Katee Sackhoff, Kara Thrace, Starbuck, The Harbinger of Humanity's End, will be in the theater to watch the show, and do a Q&A afterwards.

That's right: The episode that'll be screening next Friday night is the first part of the two-part series finale, "Daybreak"—which means that the already fanatical Battlestar fans will be even more amped than usual. And once you throw in the presence of one of Battlestar's most popular actresses? Shit's gonna be intense.

So yeah, if you have plans on the 13th? Cancel 'em. And be sure to get there early; the Bagdad's been filled to capacity for the past few weeks, and I'm guessing the crowd to get into next week's screening is gonna be pretty immense. And Starbuck über-fans, consider this your deadline! All that creepy-ass fanart isn't going to finish itself, people!

Seeing as it's Cat Friday, some posts about cats would be nice. Bonus points for pictures of cats. Thank you for your time.

As far as fan art goes, all we need is Simpsons-Starbuck:

How did you manage to spell someone's name wrong a couple of times when it's printed correctly in really big bold letters in the picture at the top?
