Sick of hearing about Watchmen yet? After what feels like years of hype, Zack Snyder's adaptation of the classic comic book is finally in theaters, and our review is here. (Planning on going this weekend? If the predictions are right, you might wanna get advance tickets.)
Despite what Watchmen's advertising blitz would have you believe, there are a few smaller things out this weekend, too: Cinema 21 has Joaquin Phoenix's purported last film, Two Lovers; the Northwest Film Center kicks off a fantastic series of '70s cinema; the Cascade Festival of African Films wraps up at PCC Cascade; the Hollywood has The Black Balloon and Our City Dreams; and the Clinton Street busts out one of my favorite samurai flicks, Samurai Rebellion.
