So all these people bitching about paying for parking... don't they know that you just park in Smart Park and get a merchant to validate your parking?

Parking is free bitches... FREE!

"No Stadium Here! Rose Quarter business leaders aren't psyched about the city's idea to build the future soccer stadium in the district on space meant for new homes and businesses."

correction: "...business leaders aren't psyched about the city's idea to build the future AAA baseball stadium in the district..."

Correction on fifth headline: the BASEBALL stadium would be built in the Rose Quarter, not the soccer stadium. That's what PGE Park would be remade into.

Or ride a bicycle or take TriMet, and you don't have to pay to park downtown either. And why do the merchants validate parking, but not give away transit tickets or patch kits?

Something is funny here.

Graham:

Purchases must be $25 and over for "free" parking validation by merchants: venues, such as the Keller and Fox Tower, and other movies spots do NOT validate. So if you come in to see a cheap flick at the Broadway..well..it ain't so cheap. Coming in to grab a bite at a restaurant? You're outta luck. They don't validate either.
